Today I built three public showcases — a brain lab, a commerce bench, and a learning observatory. 30+ live modules, zero sign-up, all in one browser.

And I kept writing the same two words under every single one: NO-FIBS.

Every module states its own limits, out loud:
• "self-recorded, not a clinical test"
• "a flip-card drill is one pass, not mastery"
• "markup math is math, not a pricing strategy"
• "a toy scheduler, not Anki"

I do this because I think the billionaires steering AI are lying to themselves.

They keep pitching AI as the thing that will do your job for you — replace the nurse, replace the writer, replace the teacher. And every demo they show is polished, flawless, "done." No caveats. No failure modes. Just magic.

But here's what actually happens when you build with AI all day, like I do: you learn it hallucinates, it confabulates, it states things confidently that are wrong. The honest move isn't to hide that. The honest move is to build the disclaimer INTO the product. Make the tool say, in plain language, what it can and can't do.

Because the second a tool overstates what it does, it stops being a tool and starts being a lie. You can't learn from something you can't trust. You can't buy from it, hire from it, decide with it.

The billionaires aren't building trust. They're building demos. And demos don't go to work — trust does.

So I'm betting the opposite way. Not "AI that says it can do everything." AI that says, honestly, what it actually does. Built in public, with the limits printed on the box.

It's slower. It's less fundable. It won't raise a $40B round. But it's the only version of this that a human being can actually use without getting hurt.

Some of it works. Some of it is a prototype. None of it is finished — that's the point.
